Yahoo's stock photo fail

I use Yahoo Mail. It's my preferred mail system for all my junk mail needs.

If you too are a user of Yahoo Mail you know that they have (and currently are) going to great lengths to improve their email system. I think across three Yahoo accounts, I have a different version of Yahoo Mail on each one. Along with each version comes a new call to action on their login/sign up page.

Traditionally, their stock photos accompanying their call to action range from cute to mundane. However, there's one stock photo that keeps popping up frequently that just gives me the creeps.

Yahoo's bad stock photo

Yeeesh! Because of this bad cropping job, each time I see this photo I think that Yahoo is subjecting me to witnessing a molestation.

I mean, look at the kid's face...he looks devoid of emotion, like he's just shutting down, waiting for it to be over with. The old woman looks overjoyed ..... oh, it's just too creepy!

Just a reminder for you to be careful with stock photos you may use - don't give your members unsettling nightmares.
